Art in Odd Places (AiOP) presents visual and performance art in unexpected public spaces. AiOP also produces an annual festival along 14th Street in Manhattan, NYC from Avenue C to the Hudson River each October. AiOP 2024 asks how art can create spaces and actions of compassionate fearless care.
About Untitled (Swept)
Through a mindful meditative procession down 14th Street, Untitled (Swept) re-matriates plants to Manhattan by returning native plant life to its pre-colonial homeland. Participants engage in acts of care and reflection on the land’s past and future.
